Weekend in New York City and Rowayton Connecticut

The Baker Babes love going to New York City. Visiting a variety of bakeries in Manhattan is always delightful as we sample their decadent sweets along the way. New York is also a great place to find unique baking pans, molds, cake platters and kitchen gadgets at shops like Fishes Eddy, http://www.fisheseddy.com/. During this trip we found some adorable vintage flour sifters at T-Party Antiques in Rowayton Connecticut, http://www.tpartyantiques.com/. After these busy weekends we always feel creatively inspired and can't wait to get back to our kitchen to bake something new and heavenly...like our chocolate zuchinni cake!
